UQ Residential Student Accommodation provides contemporary student living at the heart of the University of Queensland campus, with Supplyhaus delivering a high-performance façade designed to complement UQ’s distinctive sandstone architecture.
Project Overview
The project featured an expansive 10,000 sqm curtain wall system, incorporating integrated aluminium fins and sunshade devices to create a high-performance façade with a distinctive architectural finish.
To complement the sandstone palette carried throughout the campus, Supplyhaus worked closely with Dulux to develop five custom powder coat colours specifically for the project. The bespoke finishes helped achieve a cohesive façade that responded to UQ’s design vision and client brief, while maintaining the durability and performance required for a project of this scale.
