Truck Sales & Service Facility
Project Summary
Western Truck Group (WTG) is the home of parts, sales and service for Mack, UD and Volvo trucks throughout Queensland, Northern Territory and New South Wales.
WTG saw the benefits of our Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) to their Sunshine Coast development in managing costs and ensuring functional build ability of the design.
The sales team at the Chevallum depot have a 330m2 truck sales display, and 418m2 office, with the servicing team enjoying a large (1,170m2) well-appointed workshop. This includes a state of the art service pit featuring mechanical ventilation and lighting, conduits and structural alcoves with suspended concrete decks to accommodate hose reels, air hoses and oil and grease storage thus enabling our client to deliver modernised and efficient heavy vehicle servicing to their customers.
A 50,000 litre tank collecting water from the buildings was installed providing water to the 200m2 wash-bay which included full water containment and pollutant treatment technology. An extensive 4,054m2 concrete hardstand was purposefully designed and delivered to meet the load requirements of heavy vehicle movements on their property
