The Village at Coorparoo
Project Summary
This master planned retirement village completed over ten years provides residential aged care over five levels with 64 assisted living rooms.
The village has 217 two- and three-bedroom independent living units in five multi-level buildings, with an impressive range of communal facilities including a bistro, cafe, lounges, billiards room, club lounge, library, pool, cinema and bowling green.
Numerous environmentally sustainable design principles were implemented, including energy-efficient lighting and mechanical systems, ongoing maintenance assessment and whole-of-life costs, low BOC and natural finishes, water harvesting and quality treatment.
In addition to handing over every stage on time or ahead of schedule, our team worked tirelessly to minimise disruption to existing residents and ensure their move-in experience was a relaxing one.
The Village at Coorparoo was voted Best Overall Development & Best Seniors Living, UDIA 2015 National Awards and Best Retirement Living Development in Australia 2017, National Property Council of Australia Innovation and Excellence Awards.
