St Saviours Primary School
Project Summary
This project encompassed several key elements, including the renovation and extension of the existing library and multipurpose/GLAs classrooms.
Additionally, McNab conducted a complete overhaul of the pre-school play area, which involved landscaping, fencing, the installation of play equipment, a garden shed, and the creation of a dry creek bed.
A new standalone lift shaft was installed, complemented by a link bridge connecting the existing level 2 to the new lift shaft. Terraced seating was also introduced to the primary school oval to accommodate school assemblies and ANZAC day ceremonies. Finally, renovations to the current Kiss n Go (drop off area) at the primary school included the implementation of new asphalt, carparks, a concrete island, and line marking/signage enhancements.
McNab installed a temporary plywood throughout the school in sections where the work area and the school access ways were very close together, this provided safety to the kids and teachers when undergoing construction in a live environment. McNab worked to provide value management assist to St Saviours with their tight budget. Through this McNab was able to give back credits to change to a cheaper alternative with the specified products.
