SLSQ Headquarters
Project Summary
This project involved the design and construction of a new three-level mixed-use industrial and commercial facility for Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ).
The purpose-built standalone building was designed to consolidate various SLSQ operations, enhancing efficiency across the organisation. The facility features manufacturing workshops and storage spaces spanning across two levels, as well as administrative and office areas. Additionally, it will house key operational components such as the State Operations Communication Centre (SOCC), an emergency services room, dedicated training rooms, and reception and meeting spaces to support the organisation’s critical functions. Beyond the main building, the project will include the development of a new car park and landscaped areas, ensuring accessibility and functional environment for staff and visitors.
The integrated design supports SLSQ’s mission by providing modern, purpose-built spaces tailored to its operational needs. By combining essential services under one roof, the facility will optimise resource allocation, enhance coordination and improve overall service delivery for Surf Life Saving Queensland.
