Project Summary
The 1,292m2 workshop includes 10 service work bays, wheel alignment pit, transmission and engine repair stations, car wash, parts store, administration facilities and well-appointed staff welfare facilities.
Whilst a typical slab on-ground and precast structure, the challenge on this project was working with the engineer to ensure sufficient design strength and underpinning on site due to soft spots found throughout the site on the geotechnical reports.
With the Broadwater being less than a kilometre from site, the on-site treatment of water for this project has been vitally important. The internal slabs have falls to inground pits which connect to an oil and water separator, water is then further filtered in the above ground water treatment tank before being discharged into the stormwater system.
A new padmount transformer and seven electric vehicle charging stations will be installed to our clients existing facility which will be achieved through work area delineation, collaborative planning, and safety at the forefront of every decision.
