For over 20 years McNab has delivered 40 projects for Nippon Meats at their Oakey Abattoir facility, one of Australia's largest beef processing plants.
A fully integrated slaughtering, cutting, packaging, chilling, freezing and rendering facility, Oakey Abattoir processes up to 1200 cattle per day. From minor projects to state-of-the art refurbishments and boning room and kill floor expansions (pictured above), all projects were completed in a live environment.
Precise attention to detail and quality of finishes on all of these projects are crucial to ensure stringent AQIS (Australian Quarantine and Inspection Services) standards are met. McNab have gained significant experience in the design and construction of cold rooms and freezer rooms as part of this multi-purpose facility.
