MADAD Smithfield Warehouse

The development is a 10,000sqm warehouse with two offices (ground and first floor), an onsite stormwater detention tank (prefabricated concrete module) located in the external hardstand, a 15m awning and three retaining walls.

This project occupies a site formerly operated by 3M, adding a meaningful layer of history to its redevelopment. During the course of the project, we were contacted by the son of Elizabeth, who dedicated an exceptional 40-year career to the site prior to her retirement in 2017. In recognition of her contribution, a brick salvaged from the original warehouse was preserved and now holds pride of place in her garden, serving as a lasting and personal reminder of the decades she spent working there.
