Project Summary
Originally tendered as a spec warehouse, throughout the construction phase, our client secured Holman as a tenant for which we were able to facilitate minor scope of work changes to meet their end use requirements without impacting program.
Having completed over 35 projects for TradeCoast Central since 2008, this is the first project in the estate to have an internal 6,804m2 Twintec fibre burnished concrete slab.
With the advantage of providing construction efficiencies requiring less trades and resources on site for the pours, and a more durable slab for the end users. Seamless logistics are achieved through the provision of two sunken loading docks including dock levellers,10 metre awning, 3,772m2 hardstand and 600m2 office.
With timing being important on this project, we recommended the use of concrete rather than asphalt for the carparking areas as it is a more time efficient solution and provided early tenant access to the warehouse for the tenant's pallet racking contractor.
