This purpose built global transport and logistics facility has been designed and constructed with sustainability at the forefront of every decision, from the use of green concrete, use of recycled materials, energy efficient lighting and 100kw solar system which makes the development a 5 Star Green Star equivalent.
The site has a 14,897m2 Warehouse supported by a 496m2 office and has an expansive 27,164m2 heavy duty hardstand for container stacking and storage including refrigerated container storage zone and fumigation station and wash bay.
The project includes a major stormwater upgrade to Curlew Street where we have had to run 400 metres of stormwater pipe to connect into a new section of road being delivered by BMD due to insufficient capacity in the existing infrastructure.
Due to long lead times and specific service connection requirements, the project team secured the specialist wash bay subcontractor early within the design phase to integrate service requirement into the design.
