Churches of Christ Lady Small Haven

Offering 65 independent living units designed to meet the gold and platinum levels of the liveable housing guidelines, the rooms are larger, enabling assisted care to be delivered within the rooms and giving residents the ability to stay in their homes longer before having to move into residential aged care.

The design draws from regional aspects including the beaches, hinterland and rainforest, which are all reflected in the final finishes. Community facilities included function spaces, kitchen, bar, billiard room, exercise room, outdoor gardens and communal spaces. The project was awarded Best Community Accommodation for Aged Care & Nursing Homes on the Gold Coast by Master Builders Queensland in 2021.
