Project Summary
Currently under construction in partnership with Goodman Group, this major distribution facility for Asahi Beverages marks our second project delivered together for the beverage giant.
Located within Redbank Motorway Estate in Ipswich, one of south-east Queensland's most significant logistics and industrial precincts, the facility will support Asahi's broader supply chain transformation along Australia's east coast.
Spanning 48,600sqm, the facility comprises low bay storage and distribution areas, a dock office, bulk office and administration offices, supported by extensive hardstands, car parking and a mega awning. Designed by SBA Architects, the building has been engineered to meet the scale and efficiency demands of a modern distribution operation, with the base build providing the essential infrastructure to support Asahi's future automation fit-out, including a high-speed shuttle system and robotics, once construction is complete.
Sustainability has been built into the design from the outset, with the facility targeting a 5 Star Green Star rating and incorporating 1MW of solar power generation, native landscaping and 50,000L of rainwater collection tanks for reuse in irrigation and amenities, delivering both operational performance and a reduced environmental footprint.
