Altitude Nine

This rooftop locale plays host to panoramic 360-degree vistas showcasing the breathtaking natural beauty of the Sunshine Coast Region, providing a premium events venue for up to 180 individuals.

Open for booking for private events, weddings, community festivities, corporate functions, business networking, and more, Altitude Nine stands as the optimal venue to elevate upcoming events. Sustainable building design elements are featured in the form of acoustic panelling throughout the entire fitout, this not only beautifies the space, but also considerably reduces noise transmission between rooms.

One of the main challenges that McNab successfully overcame in this project was minimising disruptions to the existing council operations as we were working in a live environment. Noise was limited as much as possible and occupants in offices below were notified on the location of noise and how long it was expected to last.

McNab maintained continuous communication with the client and no subcontractor movement on lower floors was allowed without McNab approval to ensure offices within the rest of the building were able to function as normal. Sunshine Coast City Hall was awarded the 2022 National Master Builders Project of the year and has successfully achieved 5 Star Green Star Certification.
